Most people don’t realize it, but there is a hidden area of Google.com that allows you to make $22.70 per day, which equals about $74,000 per year. I first used this secret area of Google to make money 15 years ago, and people are still using it to this day.

Getting Started with Google Account
Now, the first thing that you’re going to need is a Google account or a Gmail account. So if you don’t have one of those yet, sign up for one – it’s 100% for free. Then log in to that Gmail or Google account. Then you just go straight to Google.com, and you’re going to look all the way at the bottom of the screen here where there’s a link that says “Business.” You’re going to click on that, then you’re going to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and “What Are Google Certifications?” Click on this little link that says “Grow with Google.”
Free Training Programs
So what is this little-known area of Google? This is an area of Google where they have all kinds of free training programs to train you on online money-making skills – everything from Cyber Security to E-commerce to Google Ads, even AI (Artificial Intelligence) and programming skills. Like I said before, I personally used this area of Google 15 years ago to get me started on my online business.

Check out these screenshots of money that people are making with this. This one freelancer named Jared charges $100 for just an introductory call, then he charges $1,000 for 8 hours of work, and he charges $4,450 for an entire week of work. He’s able to charge a premium for his Services because of the training that he got from Google.com.

He shows you how to install Google tracking on your website, which is something he learned from his Google training. He charges $190 for a 1-hour video and $350 for a 2-hour video. How to Get Certified: Simple! You just go to this site right here that I showed you earlier – grow.google.com, and you click on “Career Certificates” right here at the top of the page. And again, like I said at the beginning of this article, if you enroll in any one of these courses, you actually get “Google AI Essentials” at no cost for the next 3 months. You get an official certification in AI just simply by enrolling in any of these other Google certificate online courses.
Enrollment Process and Coursera Partnership
Here is where you select the Google certificate program that you want to enroll in, and after choosing one of them, all you do is click “Get Started.” and you begin your 7-day free trial for whichever certificate program you enrolled in. Now, you’ll notice when you click on each one of them, it’s going to take you to a different website. Google has actually partnered with Coursera to actually host and manage delivering the training material to you, but it’s going to be 100% online. Like I said earlier, most of these have a free trial, so you can get started with it and see if you like the material and the topic on a free trial basis.
Career Opportunities and Income Potential
Now I will say the main goal of these certifications is to actually get you a job. A lot of these jobs you can actually do from home, and like I showed you earlier, some people choose to monetize their certification to do freelance work on sites like Upwork or Fiverr. But either way, the goal of these certifications is to get you a skill that you can either get clients to pay you for, or you can just get a regular job that pays very, very well.

Now back to Google certificates and these Google courses. You’re probably asking how long is it going to take me to complete one of these online courses and get my certification from Google. According to Google, if you were to study in their program for 10 hours per week, you can finish one of their programs in three to six months. So that would mean you’re doing it for a couple of hours.

There’s a great article on Medium.com by a woman named Ilma that goes over her experience getting a specific certificate from Google and how long it took her to get the job. Now it took her about 4 months to land a job, and she doesn’t say how much she got paid in that job, but I know for a fact that in that specific role as a UX designer, the lowest salary is $74,000 per year, and she was probably making more than that right out of the gate. She also says in this article that she was a little bit picky and turned down some different jobs because she was very specific about the kind of job that she wanted.

She also shares in the article that it took her about 3 months to finish her Google certificate, so that’s right about in line with the estimate that Google gives. And you can see right here Google’s advertising themselves that the different fields that they are offering their certificates in offer a median entry-level salary of $93,000, and there’s a demand of 1.8 million job postings in the specific certificate areas that they’re offering. That means there’s an average of 1.8 million jobs out there waiting for you if you complete these certificates.
