You could be making thousands a month with a YouTube channel like this. These are known as faceless YouTube channels, giving anyone the ability to create a channel without ever showing their face or without using their voice.
30-Day Roadmap Success Strategy
Now compared to when I started, it’s now easier than ever, but most people are still failing this business model due to burnout, not using the right tools, and outdated strategies. This video is a 30-day road map for anyone that wants to start and build a faceless YouTube channel, and best of all, even if you’re a complete beginner, it will work for you. Let’s jump into launching your channel!
Channel Setup Process
Create the launch channel using a Gmail (aged Gmail always do better). For branding, logos, banners, etc., simply using Panva, some of the presets will be enough to begin. Your channel’s views won’t be affected by your logo, etc. Once your channel becomes established, then you can upgrade, so this launch doesn’t need to take long. Let’s move over to step two – finding your niche.
Niche Selection
Your niche is essentially the topic of your channel. Now, this is one of the biggest decisions, but with my proven steps, it’ll be easy. The first one is you should base your channel on something you have knowledge in or you want to learn. Number two is avoid boring content – you need to ensure that your channel is going to attract viewers.
Market Demand Analysis
Is there demand for that niche? Now, a good way to check demand is actually using Google Trends. You can filter YouTube search and check how many people are actually looking for that niche, and if it’s high, then it might be worth jumping into. If you’re going to create content which is not as good as the competitors, then you won’t ever perform as well as them. Pick a niche which you can create content in which is good quality for that niche.
Revenue Streams
Monetization – of course, the main way we’re going to monetize is through AdSense, and essentially and YouTube pays you a percentage that they charge the advertisers. But there are other methods that YouTube channels can make money through: brand deals, through affiliate marketing, and through selling products. It might be worth looking into niches which allow you to do that.
Competitor Research
I’ll share a spreadsheet with a bunch of different niches and faceless channels for you to get inspiration and ideas from. The next two days are about identifying your competitors and warming up your homepage. You want to constantly be shown what’s popping, what’s trending in your niche from day one. Start watching videos in your niche, start liking them, and YouTube will recommend more and more.
Content Planning Strategy
Open up a spreadsheet, study their topics, their titles, their thumbnails – anything that can help you bring your project together. It’s time to begin planning our first three videos – planning videos which we know are in demand. I recommend installing VidIQ (the free version is fine).
Video Topic Selection
Now for the topics, you have two different options depending on your niche. You can focus on search base topics which people are constantly searching for (how to construct a wardrobe – I’m not telling you to do that, that’s an example). Trending topics are topics which are trending at that current time. If you’re in the sports niche and MbappĂ©, one of the best footballers in the world, suddenly he’s gone to Real Madrid, you could make a video about that as you know it’s a trending topic. But of course, this can be risky but also highly rewarding, so it’s important for us to have a balance and to understand our niche. But you should really categorize your videos in this way. Once you’ve done your research, come up with three titles to get people curious enough to press your video – keep them below 60 characters.
Magic Time
Use capitalization to emphasize certain words. Now you have your magic on, it’s time to become a magician. You are about creating videos to create some videos that are going to get views. I want this to be as easy as possible for you, so here are the steps for scripts.
Script Creation
You can use a platform like ChatyBT, but here is a quick trick that I think actually works better. Go onto existing videos which are similar topics, press “See More” on the description, and you’ll be able to get the transcribe which is essentially word for word everything that is said in that video. You can take sections of that, put it onto ChatGPT or an AI, and get it to be inspired from that text. Don’t just rely on the AI – give it some extra input and use existing material like YouTube videos or blogs to get that inspiration.
Voice Over
For our voice over, we’re going to go 11Labs, which gives you 10,000 credits each month for free. Pick a voice which matches your audience and you’re good to go. Now for editing, I recommend using CapCut, which is a free program. If you’re more advanced, you could use something like Premier Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Stock Videos
Now you’ve got everything apart from the actual video content itself. You are going to need stock videos or footage to actually give substance to your voice. Free assets over here are the best free stock video websites out there right now: Number one is Pexels, number two is MixKit, number three PixelBay, and number four VidEasy.
Music Effects
For background music, which is super important, you can use a platform like BenSound, and for special effects, you know if you’re in a certain niche which needs more layers, they offer some free VFX. If you want to invest a monthly fee into a platform that has everything, then Motion Array is my recommendation.
Quality Content
Don’t focus on quantity, focus on creating quality clips. Then it’s probably ready to go. Now the next thing is thumbnails. Thumbnails are crucial because they essentially are what attracts the viewer.
Thumbnails
Complement your title, use contrasting colors, make sure everything is visible so that people are going to be drawn in. You can get started with Canva. Canva is very very useful for beginners and for anyone. Once your channel starts performing well, you could possibly invest into using Photoshop or hiring a freelancer.
Publishing
When it comes to start posting/publishing, the key is to be consistent. It means creating a schedule which allows you to post good quality videos, whether this is every week, every 2 weeks, every few days – what matters is the quality. VidIQ’sfree tool will help you make sure that your description, keywords, and tags are all optimized.
Analytics
One of the beauties of YouTube is the analytics. They give you so much data on your videos about retention, about where you’re getting views from. As we post our videos, we’ll be able to see where we’ve gone wrong or where we’ve gone well.
Monetization
Step seven is monetizing your page – money! As you build your channel, you will be exposed to brand deals. This is essentially brands out there that want to integrate in your video or sponsor a video, and this can often be more lucrative than AdSense. But what I want you to remember is to always have a balance between giving value to your audience and selling them something. Some people, you know, really fall into the deep end of overselling, and they’ll see a decline in their channel. Be aware of that.
Reinvestment
As you grow your channel and as you start posting your videos, you know, feel free to reach out to smaller brands that you think will benefit from being on your channel. The final step, and probably the most important for the longevity of your YouTube career: reinvesting into your channel. Once you get monetized, it’s time to upgrade certain things. If you’ve been creating your thumbnails, if you’ve been editing your videos, it might be time to find a freelancer who can improve things – improve your business by reinvesting into it.
