Okay so usually if you will be doing it like manually each pixel or even digitally each pixel is placed individually and then it’s very hard it takes time because you know it is a low resolution kind of thing it takes time and attention to detail to make it unique and you know I would say it is challenging for our designers however with the oh you know with the with the Inception of AI tools all it does is a couple of clicks and then you’ll be able to generate pixel arts.

Now how are we going to do that? I will show you a specific AI tool that does that exactly. The name of this AI tool is called pixelicious. Okay so well they have an update wherein they have the remove background option now so what it does is you know pixel art converter so convert your image into pixel art for game development with our online image to pixel art converter.

So as simple as that’s very straightforward so if you’ll be uploading an image. Okay this AI tool will be converting that into a pixel art all right so here you’ll just drag the image that you want to convert so here’s the original image. Okay a photo of a tree and then after it’s been converted so this is the pixelated image really nice.

Okay so I’m pretty sure if you have played of old you know console type of games you will see something similar to this kind of design you know if you played like you know those kinds of games. Uploading and Converting an Image
Okay so here it is and then once you have uploaded that you can immediately get a glimpse of what is the potential on pixel art uh conversion that it will do so let’s go ahead and try remove the background. Okay and then just wait for a couple of seconds then it will be transitioned into, um you know the background will automatically be removed and hopefully you will be able to retain the two image of these two racing uh AI robots.
Adjusting Pixelicious Settings
Okay and then the color palette, so color palette you just have to you know um use this and edit it as you want and then pixel grid size so by default it’s on 128 so if you want it to be like um on a higher resolution I would say 256, 64 and 32 are much more smaller so it depends on you but if you’ll be using 256 it will be not as close as this but something more upgraded from this but usually if you will just be using a retro kind or like the default uh pixel art you can stick to 128.
Generating the Pixelated Image
Okay Advanced setting. Okay the noise is so far. Okay you can just skip that one all right so with this settings in hand let’s just use click generate and then just wait for it to upload it or to generate the pixelized image and then let’s see what the result would be. Okay not so bad not so bad although it has some noise on it let’s try and click the Noise. Okay generate again and then just wait for it to generate a new and updated pixelated image uh it’s still the same how about we choose 256 then.
Reviewing the Generated Image
Okay and then generate. Okay give it a couple seconds all right well yeah so as you can see although not not as pixelated but you will see you will get a feel that you know the resolution kind of dimensional we can go ahead and stick to 128 and then generate that image and then probably we can just use other similar um AI tools or you know other softwares to just remove this you know this cluttered um image on the background but overall it is nice.
Making Money with Pixel Art
Okay so you can use this AI tool to potentially make money online by offering those service so how are we going to do that it’s very simple so first and foremost you can sell pixel art assets. Okay so you can you know you can generate image you can sell like um a collection of pixel arts depending on the theme depending on the type of images that you have and then that those images those pixel arts can be used as an asset in the video game or other digital projects I know some artists and game developers are willing to be high quality I tell you.

Okay for a high quality pixel art asset because they can use it in their work. Okay so if you go to websites like itch dot IO. Okay so you can create an account and sell your Pixel Art Tile sets here. Okay so as you can see here modern this is passive by the resource don’t see the as soon as you upload it. Okay so modern exteriors RPG tile set the selling for two dollars. Okay so 16 by 16 tile set so you just have to make your own um item here and pixel art Collections and then sell it.

Okay so this one window fantasy does it let’s go ahead and see this one. Okay so it’s being sold for 17 bucks, 50 volt extra 20 roof texture high quality pixel art so these are the pixel arts, really nice really nice. Okay so you can make money on by sending this pixel art assets on itch that IO and other ways you can offer uh clients you can offer your friends relatives small businesses local businesses custom pixel art commission so because I tell you without the knowledge of AI tools pixel arts creation is time consuming.

Okay it is hard it is not easy. Okay now some businesses and some individuals that want to have that may not have the time or the skills or resources to do it themselves so you can offer them and then charge them uh like per commission or per result or per image.
