So, I was fortunate enough to come across a side hustle that ultimately changed my entire life. Now it’s actually quite simple, let me show you an example of exactly how it works, and then I’m going to break down exactly how you can do it yourself. So basically, the way it works is that a customer will come onto Google just like this. From here, they’re going to type in an item that they’re thinking about buying, so as an example, I’m just going to type in “interactive cat ball.”

Straight away, the customer is going to be shown all of these different results for all of these different items that they can buy, but the customer also has the choice to click into this shopping tab over here, and once I found out about this Google shopping tab, that’s when I started to make thousands of dollars every day because I was essentially able to put products that I was selling in front of people that was actively looking to buy those items.

Google is the most visited website in the entire world, and once you’re able to tap into the traffic that it gets on a daily basis, you’re going to be able to, of course, capitalize from it and put money in your pocket, but there’s a little more that goes into the side hustle that a lot of beginners don’t think about.

So if I just click into one of these different stores, let’s click into this one over here, it’s going to take the customer directly to the product page, and this store is selling an item that can easily be sourced on AliExpress, and they don’t even need to ship out the item themselves. Currently, they’re selling the item for around £12.99, which is probably around $20, however, if I go onto AliExpress, we can see that the exact same item is available right now to buy for around £9, so the amount of profit that stores like this are able to make is obviously going to be high.
Email Marketing
But the one thing that allows stores like this to make money every day even when they’re fast asleep is the fact that they’re collecting email addresses for all of their visitors. When I say collecting email addresses, right here you can see that this popup has appeared, and it’s telling the customer that they’re going to be able.

to get a 10% discount if they enter their email address because one of the earliest things that I learned when it came to running stores and getting them on Google shopping is that not every single visitor is going to buy straight away, so you want to make sure that you’re building up some sort of an email list so you’re going to be able to remarket to that person and advertise your products and turn them into a customer in the future.

So using a popup like this is really powerful, and It ultimately changed my life, so I’m just going to show you an example of what type of email is sent. I’m just going to enter my email right now. Okay perfect, so I’ve just done that and they’ve just sent me an email. So this is an example of what the email is, you know, it’s super simple, got their logo, it’s got you know their slogan, and it’s also got the 10% discount code, and what they’ve also done is put the other products that they’ve got in their store in the email right here because they know exactly what type of items the potential customer is interested in, so this is a great way for them to build revenues and profits.

and everything I’m showing you right now you can do yourself with without having to spend a lot on inventory, without having to spend a lot designing your store. Building up an email list and sending emails out to people that you know are interested in a particular product is going to be one of the best ways to start a side hustle over the next year, and this is because it’s really easy to set up. It’s then going to take you to the back end of your Omnisend account, and when it comes to creating a popup, all you’re going to do is click on forms and you can create a very simple popup form by clicking on preview and launch, and with this form, this is going to be the one that you’re going to be able to easily customize if you want to change the color, if you want to change the layout, if you want to move the text around, you’re going to be able to have complete flexibility.

If you want to offer a 5% discount, if you want to offer 20% discount, you’re going to be able to do whatever you want. Omnisend also have some other pre-made templates that you can use, for example if you want to use a Black Friday one, Cyber Monday one, if you want to use you know any one of their pre-made templates when it comes to the popup that’s going to appear on your Drop Shipping Store, they’ve got all of these different options and the main reason why I recommend Omnisend is because it works in such a seamless way.
Store Setup Tutorial
If you want to connect it directly to your Shopify store, you’re going to be able to do that with a few clicks of a button. For example, I’ve got this Shopify Drop Shipping Store that I built earlier loaded with all of these different winning products. At the present moment, I don’t have a popup in place set up with Omnisend when it comes to collecting all of my visitors’ email addresses, so I’m going to show you exactly how I would do that with this brand new store. So literally the way it works is that I’m just going to come back onto Omnisend just like this and come back onto the dashboard, then what I’m going to do is click on connect to Shopify and then you’re going to come over here to install and then click on install once again, and literally just like that as you can see my store is now connected. So when it comes to activating a popup, I’m just going to come back onto forms and I’m going to select one of the pre-made ones. The one that I’m going to use is this one over here, so I’m just going to click on use template, and of course the store that I’m running is a pet store as I’ve already mentioned, so what I’m going to do is update this image to reflect something to do with pets, and the way that I’m going to be able to find that

is by going onto Pixels.com. Pixels is free for anyone to use, you know they have various different copyright-free images so you can check it out when it comes to finding a suitable image for the store that you’re running. I’ve already downloaded the image so what I’m going to do is replace it just like this.
Setting Up Email Capture with Omnisend
Okay so that looks really good for step one, it’s going to ask the visitor if they want 10% off, if they click yes then it’s going to take them to this page where they’re now going to enter their email address. As I’ve already mentioned, Omnisend is completely customizable if you want to change the color, you know if you want to do anything on this page even though it’s a template you’re going to be able to easily do that, but what I’m going to do is just click on enable form. Okay great, the form has now been enabled, what I’m going to do is just head back over to this site and I’m going to refresh the page and right there as you can see the popup has now appeared. So whenever a visitor lands onto this Drop Shipping Store if they click on yes to this question and then they enter their email address, so I’m just going to type in a random email, let’s just do email@gmail.com and then click on submit, it’s then going to show this thank you page letting them know that they’ve signed up to my mailing list, and if I just go back onto Omnisend and come over to audience, just like that within a few seconds Omnisend has worked really quick and they’ve added the email address to my database.
Email Marketing Automation Process
and of course all of the backend stuff can be done as well when it comes to automating the email that’s going to be sent to the person with the coupon code letting them know that they’ve signed up to the email list so on and so forth because right here as you can see Omnisend has these pre-built automation workflows. If I just click on this one over here, the welcome one, if I just click on customize it’s now going to take me to this page where it’s going to show me the sequence of events. You’re going to be able to set the trigger, you know when someone subscribes to your email list you wait 1 minute then you’re going to tell Omnisend to send the welcome email. So this is where you’re going to be able to update the subject line, you’re going to be able to update the preheader, you’re going to of course be able to update the actual email itself, and if you want to add more steps to the sequence after they’ve received the discount code that’s going to be easy to do. You can drag it just like this add another 1-minute delay or you can add a one-day delay and then you can add another email letting them know about other products that you’re selling and the sequence can go on and on.
